TEAM provided a full range of on-site support to HQ USAFE including restoration, compliance, conservation, planning, base closure, and operations and maintenance support. We were closely involved with HQ USAFE in evaluating new technologies for use in remediation projects including trichloroethylene (TCE) contamination and determining potential for a cleanup project at Ramstein AB. TEAM was instrumental in developing and updating the regulatory requirements used for all DOD operations in Europe (Final Governing Standards [FGS]). TEAM personnel support USAFE in its role as the Environmental Executive Agent (EEA) for Turkey, the United Kingdom, and Portugal. We support USAFE in drafting, coordinating, and publishing the FGS for these countries.
